Ground Chicken Recipes

Lately, ground chicken recipes have become immensely popular. As more and more people begin to think about their health, red meat has started to take a back seat to this type of meat.

Almost all ground chicken recipes are based upon ground hamburger recipes. Anything that you might think of using hamburger for can be changed to include chicken. The only thing that you have to remember is that chicken can be a bit bland as compared to beef, so make sure to season it properly. Most people enjoy this meat in its purest form, which is why this article will begin by giving you some very easy ideas that you can complete in no time.

If you are amongst the millions of people that love hamburger patties, you will also enjoy chicken patties. Simply mix the ground meat as you normally would, only add a bit more salt and pepper to the mix. Form them into patties, and cook them on the grill as you would a hamburger. Another way to enjoy this meat is in the form of chili. Once again, make your usual, chili recipe according to the recipe, only bump up the amount of heat and spice within the recipe. Aside from everyday hamburger recipes (don’t forget the meatballs), you can use chicken meat for a number of other dishes.

Cabbage rolls are fantastic when they are made with chicken meat. Also, spaghetti sauce is delightful when it is nice and light. Some people find that serving up shepherd’s pie with a mix of chicken and meat is a creative way to go, and some people even eat the chicken on its own with some sautéed mushrooms and peppers. As you can see, there are a number of ways to prepare great ground chicken recipes. Really, all it takes is a bit of imagination, a lot of great ingredients, and a few spices. Once you decide to use chicken meat you will find that it’s hard to go back to that old hamburger meat.

If you want an extra healthy meal, drain off any fat that is leftover from cooking the chicken. This way, you can leave the fat behind while still getting a lot of great flavor.

Look for ground chicken recipes on the web or in bookstores. Now that the world is in love with chicken, you will see a lot more innovative recipes popping up.
