Brownie Crock Pot Recipe

Looking for a good brownie crock pot recipe? Forget about those complex ones, and use the one below instead – rich, gooey, brownies guaranteed every time.

Many people think that making dessert inside of a slow cooker has to have something to do with fruit. While fruit tends to have lots of natural juices, which makes it great for the slow cooker, there are some recipes that are perfectly fine without the addition of any fruit. The brownie crock pot recipe listed below has been around for some time now, and it never disappoints those who try it.

To begin, gather one cup of flour; two tsp. baking powder; six tablespoons of butter; 1/3 cup chocolate chips; 2/3 plus 1/3 cup of sugar; 3 tablespoons plus 1/3 cup cocoa, 1 tablespoon of vanilla; one pinch of salt; 1/3 cup of milk; 1/3 cup brown sugar; and 1 ½ cups of hot water. Grease your slow cooker thoroughly. Then, whisk together flour and baking powder and place to the side. Next, melt the butter and chocolate chips on the stove top. Next, add the chocolate mix to the sugar, three tablespoons of cocoa, vanilla, salt, milk, and egg. Combine all ingredients with the flour mixture completely. Pour the batter into your pot and spread. In another bowl, whisk the sugar, cocoa, brown sugar, and hot water stirring until the sugar has disappeared. Cook the entire thing on high for three hours (check around two hours).

If you like the taste of nuts, you can add one cup to this recipe. Other great ideas include adding a swirl of marshmallow, some coconut, or some melted candy bars – really, it’s up to you. Of course, the best brownies in the world are the traditional sort, so if this is the kind you like leave the recipe as is. This brownie crock pot recipe is easy, though it is also incredibly sinful.

Dine Without Whine Sample

Since the recipe listed above has been tried numerous times, you can even make it for guests. The only thing to watch out for is that cooking time. Once the dish begins to pull away from the sides of the pot, it is done.

Serve your brownie crock pot recipe with ice cream for a real summertime treat. No matter how you like your desserts, this one is sure to hit that chocolate spot right away.
