The Pulaski Technical College Arkansas Culinary School provides an intensive, comprehensive course of study in the culinary arts. The programs are designed to prepare students for professional careers in the food service industry. It integrates classical and modern culinary techniques with strong kitchen management skills. The PTC Culinary Arts programs emphasize procedures as well as the evolution and diversity of the culinary arts. Students in these hands-on programs will master preparation of breads, pastries, desserts, appetizers, soups, sauces, garde manger, charcuterie and entrees. They learn to identify, fabricate and portion meats, poultry and seafood.

River Market Cooking Club
Some of Arkansas's finest chefs will be cooking up some delicious demonstrations at the River Market over the next several months. Each cooking class will be held from 9am to 11am on Saturday in the Bill and Margaret Clark Third Floor Multi-Purpose Facility. The cost is $10.00 per class. "These classes are a great opportunity for the public to learn more about the River Market vendors, and at the same time receive some excellent cooking tips and recipes from the experts," said Victoria Gross, coordinator of the classes.
