Easy Cooking Recipes for Teenagers

Are you a teen that enjoys creating unique dishes? Well, you will be happy to know that there are many easy cooking recipes for teenagers out there… and some of them are included in this article.

While you are not confined to easy cooking recipes for teenagers, when you first begin to cook it helps to have some basic skills under your belt. This is precisely why going through some simple recipes is a good thing to do in order to prepare for more complex ones later down the road. Really, you can create anything you like once you know how to prepare the basics. Below, you will find some really elementary ways of preparing tried and true meals… just to get you started on the right track.

Let’s begin with an all-time favorite: macaroni and cheese (no, not the kind in the blue box). To start, cook the macaroni noodles and place them aside. Then, combine two tablespoons of butter with one tablespoon of flour in a small saucepan. Place the pan on medium heat and cook the mixture until it forms a paste. Then, add one cup of milk along with two cups of your favorite cheese. Next, add the macaroni and mix thoroughly. Taste the mixture and add salt and pepper as you see fit.

How about creating a fantastic stuffed pepper dish? Start by browning some hamburger meat, and at the same time sautéing some chopped onions and peppers with the meat. Cook all ingredients until thoroughly cooked, add salt and pepper to taste, and place the mixture aside. Then, boil some instant rice. When the rice is done, add about one cup of spaghetti sauce to it, and then mix both the meat and the rice together. Next, cut the tops off of some peppers, line them on a baking sheet with tin foil, and stuff them with the meat mixture. If you like, top them with cheese. Bake at 350 degrees for half an hour or until the peppers are slightly cooked – there you have it, two easy cooking recipes for teenagers.

Now that you have two staples under your belt, what will you come up with next? Soon enough, you will be creating soufflés and stews that any chef would be jealous of – all it takes is a bit of imagination.

Coming up with easy cooking recipes for teenagers is a snap once some basic techniques have been learned. Whether you are a mom wishing your teen would learn to cook or whether you are a teen with a passion, becoming a home chef is one step towards becoming world renowned – now, wouldn’t that be nice?
